Iyahnna Carter is a student at Louisiana State University majoring in broadcast journalism while minoring in political science. Originally from Texarkana, Texas, she’s grown to feel deeply connected to Baton Rouge through her time on campus. Her interest in journalism comes from a desire to connect with people and share stories that reflect everyday life.
